St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Private Law Prize

The nomination for the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Private Law Prize 2018 is open from September 1 till November 15, 2017. The contest is open for academic works - monographs published since January 1, 2012, devoted to the Russian and (or) foreign private law and private international law, including comparative works. Textbooks or commentaries may not be nominated.

How to apply*:

  1. Fill in the registration form on the SPBILF website or send by e-mail to the information about the Nominating Organization** and the nominated academic work
  2. Attach the following documents:
    • Letter from the Nominating Organization Template
    • Full text of the academic work
    • Author’s CV (including contact information and nationality) Template
    • Author’s Consent for nomination for the Prize Template
    • Summary of the academic work (2 pages)
    • Detailed Resume of the academic work (if the academic work is written in a language other than English)

SPBILF Private Law Prize

On May 17, 2017 the ceremony announcing the St Petersburg International Legal Forum Private Law Prize was held during VII St Petersburg International Legal Forum was hold a formal.

This global academic award should recognize the highest academic class of the winner, while the financial component of the Prize should help its winner realize research ideas of pan-human importance.

The Prize’s Expert Committee consists of internationally-renowned scholars who have predetermined the development of today’s legal science and whose works have been studied by the generations of modern lawyers.

The amount of the Prize is 10 million rubles.
